Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Also, visit the Japanese Temple dedicated to Lord Buddha and constructed in 1972. If you are lucky, you may be able to witness the puja at the time of your visit. Nearby is also the Peace Pagoda which has 4 avatars of Buddha - in the postures of sleeping, sitting, standing, and meditating. Don’t forget to visit the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center, which was established on 2 October 1959, for those who followed Dalai Lama and escaped from Tibet. The production of Tibetan handicrafts is the center's main activity.
